Enrollment & access

Core
1
How do I enroll in a course?
Steps, payment, and confirmation email.
Choose your program, complete checkout, then watch for a confirmation email within 2–5 minutes. If you don’t see it, check Spam/Promotions. Access instructions and your learner dashboard link are included.
2
Can I start immediately after payment?
Instant access for self-paced content.
Yes for self-paced modules. For cohort sessions, your dashboard unlocks immediately, and your live schedule appears once your cohort is confirmed (usually within 24 hours).
3
Do you offer refunds or transfers?
Fair policy, simple process.
If your cohort hasn’t started, you can request a refund or transfer to a later start date. After the first session, we typically offer transfers instead of refunds. Send your order email and preferred option via the quick-question form.
4
What if I didn’t receive the confirmation email?
Troubleshooting checklist.
Check Spam/Promotions, confirm the email was typed correctly at checkout, then try searching for “FragranceCraft” in your inbox. If still missing after 10 minutes, contact support and include your payment timestamp.

Materials & kits

Practical
5
Do I need a perfume-making kit?
Starter kit vs. advanced setup.
A kit is recommended but not mandatory. If you’re brand new, start with a small set of aroma materials, blotters, and basic glassware. Advanced students may add precision scales (0.01 g), pipettes, and dilution solvents for structured practice.
6
Are materials included in the price?
What’s included and what’s optional.
Most programs include digital materials (formulas, worksheets, and evaluation guides). Physical kits are optional add-ons. If your course includes a kit, it will be listed clearly at checkout and in your confirmation email.
7
Is it safe to practice at home?
Basic safety & storage guidance.
Yes with standard precautions: ventilate your workspace, label everything, avoid skin contact, and store materials sealed away from heat/light. We teach dilution practices and provide a printable safety checklist in the first module.
8
What tools do you recommend for accurate blending?
Tools that make practice easier.
A 0.01 g scale, glass beakers, disposable pipettes, blotter strips, and amber bottles cover most needs. If you want high repeatability, weigh by grams (not drops) and keep a consistent dilution system.

Schedule & learning format

Time
9
Are classes live, self-paced, or both?
How the program is structured.
Most learners choose a blended path: self-paced theory modules plus optional live critique sessions. That way you can study fundamentals anytime, then get feedback on your trials when you’re ready.
10
Do you provide recordings for live sessions?
If you miss a session.
Yes, recordings are typically available in your dashboard within 24 hours. If a session includes sensitive student project details, the instructor may provide an edited recap instead.
11
How many hours per week should I plan for?
A realistic weekly cadence.
For steady progress, plan 3–6 hours/week: 1–2 hours theory plus 2–4 hours for smelling practice and small blending trials. Intensive learners sometimes do short daily sessions to train olfactory memory.
12
Can I join from a different time zone?
Time zones and attendance.
Absolutely. Your dashboard shows times in your local time zone automatically. If you can’t attend live, recordings and structured assignments let you stay on track.

Certificate & outcomes

Proof
13
Do I get a certificate?
Completion requirements.
Yes. Certificates are issued after you complete the required assignments and final project submission. You’ll receive a printable PDF and a verification code for sharing.
14
Will this help me build a portfolio?
What you’ll produce.
You’ll create multiple structured accords and at least one finished fragrance brief with evaluation notes. We also teach how to document trials, decisions, and revisions — the exact narrative evaluators look for.
15
Do I need prior chemistry knowledge?
Prerequisites explained.
No. We teach what you need in plain language: dilution, concentration, evaporation curves, and safe handling. If you enjoy structure and note-taking, you’ll feel right at home.
16
Is the certificate recognized internationally?
What it means in practice.
It’s a skills-based completion certificate from our academy, useful for portfolios, resumes, and client trust. If you need a specific accreditation for a region or employer, send us your requirements and we’ll advise.
